I am a 46 year old veteran of the Louisiana Army National Guard. I have been married for 19 years to Amie and we have 2 children Justice (14) and Liberty Grayce (8). I joined the National Guard in 1995 after I asked if I could marry my wife, and was told I had to have a stable job before it would be allowed. I went to the recruiters office the next day. I enjoyed being apart of the National Guard from the very beginning. I reenlisted each time it became available and would have loved to have had my 20 years in. I was deployed as part of OIF in April 2004 until October 2005. As soon as the Louisiana National Guard returned home, we were immediately reassigned to Hurricane Katrina Duty. My son was born in June 2004 during my deployment. I suffered a physical injury in June 2008 that ultimately caused me to take a medical retirement in 2010. The VA has me listed as 80% with Unemployable.

My injuries/illness include:
TBI, Pain, Sleep Apnea, Insomnia, Diabetes, Neuropathy, PTSD, Depression, Degenerative Joint Disease of Right Knee, Left Foot Injury, Tinnitus, Nerve Damage
